This is Andy's project bike it's a 1982 RD 350 LC (4LO model) approx. 21,500 miles.
It will get a full stripdown to the frame.  The frame will be powder coated and then everything cleaned, repainted,
replated & replaced if worn or damaged. A spare set of bodywork will be resprayed in the original candy blue colour scheme. Andy does not anticipate stripping the engine as it seems to be running OK at the present time.

As you can see Andy has  started on his bike, no parts have been made ready yet !
Andy has started to collect as many new parts has he can from different places ( not a easy  job ! )

Andy's  frame is almost '' naked '' just the forks / headstock / centerstand and a few small components to remove.
Then it's time for the frame to be powder coated

Andy's frame is now '' naked '' all the pictured parts have now been taken for powdercoating.
We should see a start being made on the rebuild in the new year (2002)

The rebuild has now started on Andy's bike,
the headstock / centerstand / swinging arm and main wiring loom have all been fitted,
along with twostroke bottle and rear mudguard.

Headlight unit and Radiator fitted ,
Forks reconditioned, new springs,seals,oil, Polished legs ( Thanks Ian ) and lacquered.
Andy has now turned his attention to the motor.

Sweet !
Starting to look like a bike again !
Wheels,indicators,Footpeg hangers and handlebars all now fitted.
I think Andy can now see the finish line !

Andy's now ''Cooking With Gas''
The motor is now fitted to the bike, with new clutch fitted,
the carbs have been cleaned and are now ready for fitting.

How much time / effort and £$£ have gone into it ( God alone knows )
